The Nile Bike and Sail Itinerary

Day 1 Sunday: Luxor, Egypt
Luxor Temple
Embarkation & overnight in Luxor
Day 2 Monday: Luxor (West Bank), Egypt
Valley of the Kings
Temple of Queen Hatshepsut
Early Morning ride by ferry and bike to West Bank including Valley of the Kings, Temple of Queen Hatshepsut and the Colossi of Memnon
Continue riding to the splendid Hotel al Moudira, with a stop at el Muhareb Monastery for a visit. Lunch at Hotel al Moudira.
Return by bus to the Magic Serenade.
Dinner and Overnight on Magic Serenade.

Sailing at 16.00
Day 3 Tuesday: Sailing
Valley of the Kings
FULL day Sailing. Cruise and relax for the balance of the day down the Nile.
In the Afternoon, visit of Kom Ombo temple
Sailing to Aswan
Day 4 Wednesday: Aswan, Egypt
Abu Simbel
Early morning opportunity for optional excursion from Aswan to Abu Simbel by Bus or Plane.
Return early afternoon from Abu Simbel and lunch.
Late afternoon biking from the boat, across the Nile Bridge and follow the Nile road alongside the magical Nubian Villages along the Nile.
Return afterwards by bus to Magic Serenade
Overnight and dinner on board in Aswan.
Total biking: 21 km
Day 5 Thursday: Aswan, Egypt
Saint Simeon's Monastery
After breakfast, early morning departure for biking in Aswan along the Western Desert Road from the New Dam from the South and descend to St. Simeon's Monastery. Visit of the Monastery.
We leave the bikes behind at this point and are met by camels for a ride up to the Valley of the Tombs of the Nobles. Visit of the Tombs of the Nobles. We are left on the banks of the Nile for our boat ride up the Nile Cataracts.
Return by boat to Aswan East Bank and return to the Magic Serenade for lunch.
Continue sailing downriver on the Nile at 16.00.
Overnight and dinner on board.

Day 6 Friday: Edfu, Esna, Luxor, Egypt
Temple of Horus
After breakfast, early morning biking to Edfu Temple of Horus (10KM)
Return to Magic Serenade.
At around 14.00:
Biking from Esna To Luxor (60 KM).
Will meet the cruise in Luxor.

Alterations: We reserve the right to make alterations to the planned route due to changing wind and weather conditions, and where required by organizational necessities or security restrictions. Traffic and road conditions may require us to adjust the biking routes and to use our support vehicles to move passengers and equipment as necessary.
Boats of equal or better class may be substituted for the Magic serenade.

Cancellation terms: 10 percent between time of booking to 60 days prior to departure; 50 percent between 60-30 days; 100 percent inside of 30 days
